A new research from comScore , a leader in measuring the digital world, was published this week and measures the level of penetration of Twitter by country. The study presents the first 10 countries in which Twitter has the greatest reach among the online population, and reveals a surprising winner: Netherlands. It is also the country of the world most used LinkedIn, 26.1% of its inhabitants.

For Latin America and the winners are Brazil with a 23.7% penetration of Twitter in 3rd place, Venezuela with 21% occupying the 5th place in the countries where Twitter is more important and popular, and finally is Argentina with 18 % and a position of seventh in the top 10. Three locations really impressive and show the big interest aroused in our region the use of social networks.

In Venezuela's really amazing what we live with Twitter, many times it seems that the whole population has a Twitter account. The president of Venezuela has his account and many important public officials, many of them make significant use of the tool, politicians of all shades is also used. Too many artists and personalities. The Twiteq , a monthly gathering of twitterers, each edition brings over 500 people and many brands have very active Twitter accounts.
