By now no one doubts the great weight that has the network in Spain, as in many other countries in many fields including for example, found that of the economy. There are several studies that support the claim and all the citations in the last hours just add another conducted by The Boston Consulting Group at the request of Google , whose findings are very interesting. According to the report before us in 2009 the network gave the not inconsiderable figure of 23,400 million euros GDP -national which represents 2.2% of the total, estimated contribution will grow steadily in coming years to arrive in 2015 to 63,000 million euros (5.1% of GDP or almost triple in 2009). More details of these 23,400 million and 14,000 million were generated by private consumption of households of which 8,900 million relate to private spending on electronic commerce and 3,500 Internet access (important to note that 24% of the previous amount represents spending on mobile broadband households). On the other hand private investment in broadband accounted for a contribution of 3,800 million euros and investments in other companies associated with Internet facilities resulted in 4,600 million euros of tax. Of course, not everything is good. The study also indicates that although e-commerce and advertising investments grow apace, punctured in other sectors (eg increased investment in communications infrastructure), and also the Spanish spend more on foreign websites that sell nationals outside (ie there is a discrepancy between exports and imports related to the network). Finally, to end with something positive, the study says the Internet has led to changes of depth in much of the economic sectors due to the environment by eliminating geographical barriers, allowing access to more customers and segments or to facilitate management business.
