Anonymous returns to the list of suspects in Sony for stealing data to the PlayStation Network. According to the company's Japan, the intrusion was simultaneously a denial of service attack . While Sony was trying to defend such action, the hacker responsible for the extraction of information went into the kitchen without encountering any obstacles in its path. For all we know, the assault on the PlayStation Network was between 17 and 19 April, with up to 20. Recall that earlier this month, Anonymous launched a crackdown on PSN, attacking the company for taking legal action with a pair of hackers in the group. Days later the hackers acknowledged that was a mistake to use that strategy because of the collateral damage that made the network users (and therefore the loss of public support). Still, Anonymous did not remove the sore finger, saying that otherwise would find "more creative" to exert pressure. When it was revealed the attack, Anonymous disavowed responsibility. Even Sony said in a press conference on Sunday, 1 that the group was not involved in any way. However, now backs off and point the finger. Although they said did not know if there is any relationship between this DDoS attack and theft of personal data, have come to blame the group, arguing that worked-on purpose or by accident, as a distraction for the security of the PSN. Suspicions grow now that they discovered a document that could be linked to Anonymous with data theft, but rather evidence could be planted. From what I see, here are three main hypotheses.
From my perspective, the two options below me sounds more likely: either it was an unfortunate coincidence or Sony wants to win time blaming the other. Anyway, the situation is complicated , as the PlayStation Network continues to fall, the Sony Online Entertainment was also compromised, have had to resort to the FBI and Homeland Security, the numbers in the stock market go down and have had to hire another firm more security. So, Sony, the least important now is to point blame, but the damages and ensure the safety of the players.
