The people at Google just released a nifty tool dubbed Globe Search allows you to see graphically and spectacular all searches carried out with the form along and across the globe, a way to visualize, it is said in his blog what are the interests of people as distinct colors as well as the language of the search.
It was developed by the team of Google Data Arts using WebGL , a technology already available in the latest versions of most browsers to render faster 3D graphics. The code is open, anyone can use it, and explained in the Google Code Blog , with the idea that you want a more personal use using their own data. The globe shows searches on a particular day and according to various filters, such as the language used in the search, which is determined by a different color. You can see very clearly the dominance of each language by region and areas with varying degrees of Internet access , such as Europe, where it appears an intricate jumble of colors and bars while in Africa and many parts of Asia hardly see a single color point (data which also influences, though less, the popularity of the Mountain View search engine in some of these countries). It is interesting to see also the distribution of world population , changes over time and which are crowded countries like China. Since Chrome Experiments can launch this new and unusual tool and access to the code.
