Twitter is currently one of the most powerful tools that exist in the network. The vast range of uses has been given so far is that adding a new feature , possibly the most important have been tested so far. This is an interesting tool face to prevent virus and its spread around the world. Kazemill , geographic mapping system that warns about spread of disease, activates a new service capable of monitoring the tweets that refer to diseases through an algorithm, then place the signs on the map. Powered by the agency McCann Healthcare , it is displayed in real time the complaints or warnings of each twitterers, gather information and certify whether there is a spread on the map after comparing the disease. The activity of the service is renewed every hour by adding tweets "relevant" and keeping control over the activity of the disease or virus detection. McCann Healthcare ensures that the algorithm used is able to distinguish between a harmless message and other services relevant to the symptoms of disease. In addition, we are also working on developing a virtual newsletter, a sort of television that predict the spread of common diseases such as a cold or the flu, so that people find instant information. This new service has begun to be implemented in Japan with an average of 18,000 entries to date on relevant symptoms. The map shows a color for each virus detected by the 3D map that fluctuates depending on the relevant messages, so users can follow the evolution of it and if it progresses or remits the map extent. Till now we have attended all sorts of applications in the network of microblogging. From tools to assess the stock and the market , to measuring the rates of television or streaming of the most important events of recent times. This new functionality could be even more important if ultimately successful, and we're talking about fighting the spread of disease. From Kazemill say the system will be implemented globally in 2012. Twitter could help combat the spread of diseases and viruses written in ALT1040 on 5 May, 2011 by miguel-jorge
