During this weekend, some users have found that doing a Google search results are displayed on a page have something different and perhaps like me, your first thought was that something was wrong. But no, what happens is that they are testing with new designs in the search results page .

As always this page have it turned some people have to say that however much I tried I could not redo the results are shown with the experimental design. Which is giving much debate and in some cases rather negatively, directly calling ugly.

And certainly, when we see it we think it is a problem in the load, the differences are enough, especially with regard to the structuring of the results. As we can see in the picture above there are more white space between each of the results, the sources have changed a bit and link colors as well. The blue of the title is clearer, while the descriptions have gone from black to a gray tone and the direction is still green, but with a more striking. In addition to the new design we are missing some of the links that accompany each result, as the results show similar or the cache.

"Evidence of a new design or failure to activate some users? I think it could be a mistake because it seems that it is too experimental design, normal when testing a new design is that it limits the functionality already implemented in version stable. And this design is incomplete leads to the feeling of being not good and people do not like. In any case, what if we can show is where you throw Google , modernizing gradually visually simplifying a bit different services.

What do you think this new design? Do you think this is a test shown by error and incomplete or that Google wants to give a design similar to that in your browser? I await your opinions.
